Loose powders often leave skin looking flat and slightly ashy, especially in photos. This one is pink, and that's the whole point — the tone cancels the greyish, earthy cast that makeup can pick up through the day, so skin looks fresher rather than dulled.

It's made from powdered raspberry seeds and the texture is genuinely silky. It sets foundation and concealer to a long-lasting matte without the heavy, powdered look, and it's fine enough to use under the eyes without creasing. The pink adapts to the skin rather than sitting on top as a colour.

The formula carries a skin calming complex — raspberry seed oil, centella asiatica, allantoin and betaine — which is why it suits sensitive and redness-prone skin better than most setting powders do. Talc free, and 99.5% ingredients of natural origin.

Setting powder betrays you in this climate. Humidity works on it all day and by evening the finish is flat and grey — worst on camera, and under the warm lighting most restaurants here use.
