Which shades have shimmer?

What we mean by long wear

Colour that holds comfortably through a working day and wears down evenly — not the transfer-proof kind that asks you to choose between your lipstick and your lips.

That is the formula doing its job. Peptides, jojoba oil and ceramides keep the lips conditioned, so the finish stays flexible rather than gripping and drying down. If your day genuinely needs something immovable, a transfer-proof liquid matte is the honest recommendation.

What you get instead: a lip that still feels like a lip at 6pm, and colour you can top up without it building into layers.

What's the difference between Mattologie Soft and Mattologie Matte?

Soft is a soft matte — satin to look at, cushioned on the lips, with a forgiving blurred edge. Matte is a true matte — flat, higher pigment, crisp edge, longest wear in the range. If matte lipsticks usually feel tight on you, choose Soft. If you need it to survive an event or photographs, choose Matte.

Can I put gloss over the matte lipstick?

Over Mattologie Soft, yes — that's the ombré the collection is built for. Over Mattologie Matte, no. A true matte is formulated to stay flat and gloss will lift and patch it.

How do I pick a shade without seeing it in person?
