This is what you buy when rice powder isn't holding. Over 80% bamboo starch, which absorbs both oil and moisture — the second part matters here, because humidity breaks makeup down as much as sebum does.

It's finely milled enough to blur rather than sit on the skin: the bamboo diffuses light, so fine lines and texture soften instead of being highlighted the way a heavy powder does. Transparent, no white cast, no coverage added.

Powdered silk is what keeps it from feeling stripping — it holds some hydration and adds a faint radiance under the matte.

Talc and paraben free. Best on oily and combination skin.

This is a summer powder. From about May the humidity does as much damage to makeup as sebum does, and most powders only address one of the two.

Apply after foundation and concealer to set your makeup, or use directly on bare skin to help control excess shine.

Pick up a small amount of powder using a fluffy powder brush or powder puff. Tap away any excess, then gently press or sweep the powder over the face.

Focus on areas that tend to become oily, such as the forehead, nose and chin. Apply in light layers and add more only where needed.
