Six shades, named for home

Warm rose through to deep brown — listed lightest first.

  • 75 Pearl Coral — warm coral-rose. Before the oil, this coast lived on pearls. The warmer of our two lightest shades — go here if your skin runs golden.
  • 13 Pearl Blush — soft rose-pink. The cooler, pinker sister to Pearl Coral. Go here if your skin runs pink, or if warm shades pull orange on you.
  • 24 Bougainvillea — deep rose-pink. The flower spilling over every villa wall in the city. The most colour of the six.
  • 14 Desert Rose — dusty mauve-rose. Named for the gypsum crystal that forms out in the sand. Muted, grown-up, the most forgiving here.
  • 40 Dubai Spice — warm brick rose. The spice souk in Deira, cinnamon and dried chilli by the sackful. Beautiful on olive and deeper skin.
  • 79 Henna — deep rose-brown. The colour henna stains a day after it's drawn, once it has deepened from orange into brown. The darkest of the six.

Good to know

This is not a transfer-proof matte and it doesn't pretend to be. Expect to reapply after a meal. What you get instead is a lipstick that never leaves your lips feeling tight — which, in Dubai air conditioning, is the trade most of us would make.
